The Student Council of Rooskey NS is a group of students elected by their classmates to represent their views and interests.

Our aim is to create a school community that is inclusive, respectful, caring and democratic. We are committed to promoting the principles of the school's ethos and ensuring that every student's voice is heard.

A Student Council

• helps improve school life for everybody.
• acts as the voice of the students.
• acts as a channel of communication within the school organisation between pupils, school and home.
• encourages pupils to organise events and to represent the school in a positive way during these events
